This project began as a research journey supported by the Arab Council for the Social Sciences, whose Small Grants Program “Constantine Zurayk on Nation, Identity, and History: Towards New Agendas,” first cycle (2024), funded by the Constantine Zurayk Cultural Foundation, made the original work on Sheikh Imam Clubs possible. The Grant did not only support a research project; it helped energise a longer‑term dream of building a club, where research becomes practice, community, and collective singing.
